Need Internet?

Live Off Of Grays Creek Road?

Applegate.Network was formed to provide fixed wireless service for residents of Grays Creek and Copper Drive in Grants Pass, OR.

What? Better internet?

Yeah! We at The Applegate Ranch have run a new fiber-optic connection to our place and wanted to share it with residents of Grays Creek Road or Copper Drive.

Who is Applegate.Network?

Jesse Keller, the owner of The Applegate Ranch, was fed up with the internet offerings to the area. I am a one-person outfit established to serve residents of Grays Creek Road. Applegate.Network is not planning on making money off of this, I just like sticking it to the suits.

Who is Jesse Keller?

Jesse is a ex-rocket scientist (really!), having worked at SpaceX for nine years. He holds a CBRS certified professional installer certificate. He understands how important Internet is, so Applegate.Network will be run like any other Wireless Internet Supplier. (“WISP”), providing connectivity you can depend on.

Can you make it free?

Wouldn’t that be awesome? Unfortunately, running and maintaining a fiber optic line takes money. And last I saw, those were pear trees near the pasture, not money trees. I’m targeting ~$60/month plus an additional fee to cover equipment and billing (~$10-15/mo). I’d like to be competitive with Ziply, Frontier and Spectrum, but don’t want to loose my shirt! But more subscribers means lower prices, so express an interest above.

Will it be FAST?

Oh, yeah. Check out the tech here, it’s pretty sweet. Recent laws have allowed use of lower frequencies and technology usually reserved for cell phones. Lower frequencies mean better signals through trees. Subscribers should get 50Mbit/sec, 10x the speed of previous generations of fixed wireless. That’s twice the minimum broadband speed as defined by the Federal Government!

How can I help?

Express an interest above! We have a few users now testing out the tech, and will be “going live” on October 1.
